Not too far back a member at the fitness center asked me my opinion about her joining a twelve week fitness contest.She was one of those people often found exercising, but not all the time. Her results reflected that. You can read about the importance of being consistent in a weight loss forum.

To get started I measured her body composition at almost 30% fat.She was about average for being over 40.

It is possible, however, to have progressively better results year after year. It just takes more than 12 weeks. Here are a few tips I have that might help.

1. Don’t define your program as beginning a diet: your better eating habits should be regarded as a permanent alteration of your lifestyle.

2. Get a plan ready to maintain your fitness once you’ve achieved your goals.

3. Make only a couple changes at a time.You risk being unable to sustain rapid progress.
